Derya and Aziz, a celebrated artistic couple from Turkey, are happily married and lead a fulfilling life with their daughter Ezgi - until an incident occurs at the premiere of their play. They suddenly find themselves targeted by the state and lose their jobs and homes. Struggling to navigate the new situation and balance their ideals with life’s necessities, their marriage is pushed to a breaking point. The tense political drama by the Turkish director Ilker Çatak (The Teacher's Lounge, 2023) had its premiere at this year's Berlin Film Festival, where it won the Golden Bear for the best film.
